World Chlorine demand is expected to rise by 20% in the foreseeable future
- 43.7 million tonnes of Chlorine were produced world-wide in 2003...
- ...and this is expected to rise to 52.4 million tonnes by 2010
Asia is predicted to be largest growth area, with a large

expansion required for the higher PVC demand.
A total of 771,426 tonnes of Chlorine were produced in Europe in 2003.
